Updated TSA list

I’ve personally ordered from E.L.F. before and love some of their makeup brushes (I actually got the large brush roll with brushes) and lip gloss – the cotton candy scented clear gloss. They’ve also been featured in a lot of popular fashion mags.

I also would NOT recommend the mascara. Mine came with the waterproof and regular ends swapped (aka mislabeled) and even after I figured that out the quality wasn’t good – it was flaky, literally.

I actually placed another order yesterday because I wanted to try some of their eye shadow, they have a new eye shadow brush, a friend needed a lip brush and I wanted to get the cell phone charm lip gloss set a try since it’s the cotton candy scent as well (there’s a promo for 20% off through I think Oct 31 2006 for that specifically – type in “phone” at checkout.)

I am giving a couple of their other lip glosses a second chance – the grape vanilla and vanilla mint scents on my first order were horrible but they have new colors and I’m hoping they’ve reformulated those scents (because they were completely unbearable before – they stank!) I will let everyone know when I get that in if they are the same or better smelling.

The bad news: when I checked out yesterday there was a warning that they’ve had so much business it may take up to 3-5 weeks for them to ship. So if you do order right now you will be waiting for awhile.

I would love it if people clicked on the ad on the right but at the same time I want to mention that I have found a good portion of the E.L.F. line is also available through drugstore.com (the customizable pallets are not.) I don’t know if they have some in their warehouses that you might get the products faster or not though – there may be the same wait (and you can’t use the promo code I mentioned above.)

Reminds me that I need to see if I can get an ad for drugstore.com through linkshare….
