I was sent:
- “Red my Lips” which is a bright red basic red
- “Pat on the Black” which is a rich black with undertones of insanely deep dark purple
- “Jaded” which is a basic mint
All three are creams. No shimmer. No glitter. And that’s just it. The shades are super basic. They’re good but they’re verging on boring. But I think that was the point of the colors that they chose to send us, there’s nothing outright to dislike about them.
I went through the colors listed online and there aren’t a lot I’m super excited about. OR they are a match for something I already own like Jungle Gem which is a deep teal.
“Please sea me” or “Water Color” are the most appealing of the available shades to me. But both seems like a summertime color … and we’re not yet at summer. 🙂 The red I’ll probably wear around Christmas.
The quality is good and the nail polishes do last well though. I just wish they were a little more adventurous in their colors.
The good news is that these are “3 Free” when it comes to ingredients

Just finished off and re-purchased this. I love this face moisturizer. I actually have been using it this winter in the daytime as well because it’s not TOO heavy (though it still may be too heavy for daytime use depending on your own skin.)
Does it have age defying properties? I have no idea. I just like that it’s just enough moisture without feeling oily and the ingredients are awesome and non-toxic! 🙂
Oh one thing I dislike – I’m never fond of containers I have to dip my fingers in. I would much prefer a squeeze tube. Despite that I did go through an entire container even though this type of container has kept me from using other products in the past!
Kohl’s clearance jewelry haul
So I had $10 in Kohl’s cash and felt like shopping this evening. Tried on clothes and wasn’t liking anything. Went over to jewelry though and I found more than a few things I liked!
What did I buy…
– two pairs of Mudd brand silver horn earrings for $3 each. I bought both pairs of these because the backs aren’t tight and I kinda suspect I may lose one at some point. $6 still isn’t bad.
– three pairs of Croft & Barrow faux diamond and pearl earrings $12 and 30% off made them $8.40. I bought these because I wanted to try them with the horn backs actually … And didn’t want to risk earrings I like to potentially being lost.
– one Lauren Conrad gold beaded bracelet
– one pair Apt.9 gold dainty chain earrings. These look great but the chain is startlingly uncomfortable in your ear so this may be my first AND last chain earring purchase.
– and one dainty quatrefoil necklace from a brand I’ve never heard of. Tacky packaging, cute necklace. Not worth the original $55 since it’s silver plated and rhinestone but definitely worth $11.

Wornontv.net is simply a site that tries to find the styles shown on popular and current tv shows. Everything from Hart of Dixie to Revenge to Nashville. It’s not created by the TV networks so someone is culling through tons of photos for this and it’s nowhere near comprehensive (think of the number of characters AND clothing changes you see in each show!) but it does have some exact and near match recommendations for TONS of outfits.
