So I’ve been looking for a nice navy lately. I haven’t painted my nails in years for a combination of reasons (chipping and chemicals primarily) but I really wanted to paint them recently. This is Wet n Wild noctural (238?) I wish it were a little more obviously navy instead of almost black. Yes?No? Suggestions for a better navy?
I’m not sure how long the sale is going to last but I do know the shoes seem to be going fast. I ended up buying 9 pairs of shoes for approximately $100 which meant I also got free shipping on nine pairs of shoes. Some of my purchase was more practical than exciting but you really can’t beat 9 pairs of shoes that normally run$60-$90 EACH for about $100 total.
Below is what I bought (click to go to their page on 6pm.com):
The photo on their website doesn’t do these shoes justice at all and my photo is only a little better. They are gorgeous, sexy and also simple enough to go with almost anything at the same time. I had been eying a pair of Nine West Bonfire shoes online and these look exactly the same. The only bad news is that there are only two colors in the Target brand (black and grey) and I kinda was hoping for black leather instead of suede.
On top of how awesome they look, they are comfortable for heels. At some point a few years ago I messed up my toe on my left foot and ever since even just trying on a pair heels typically causes a sharp and severe pain in that toe. This pair there’s no sharp pain. I think my weight is more on my heel than the ball of my foot (not completely but more than most) AND the sole of the shoe is rubberized so your not sliding ALL over the place. They are 3.5″ heels so they are pretty high and I can’t say these are walking shoes but I am REALLY happy with this purchase.
Sorry I haven’t been around. I’ll explain at another time. I may not be around much for awhile longer but I’m not abandoning this blog and I wanted to go ahead and get this image online.
I wanted to start posting more outfits that I’ve worn so here’s the first. It’s pretty simple but I like it and the pieces are versatile (and cheap):
Corduroy Jacket – “So…” brand found at Goodwill $5
Grey short-sleeved turtleneck – “Love Lola” brand Dillard’s $11
Jeans – AE hipster $39
Black square toe ballet flats – “Mossimo” Target $20
I may not always know the costs on the outfits but on this one I do.
Let me know what you think. 🙂
